And I can see a shiny tiny white pearl erupting!Actually I heard his teeth before I saw it...when I put the spoon in his mouth I hear a different noise now, a noise of something sharp and hard grazing against the plastic spoon.
Then when I manged to run a finger around his mouth I felt his tooth.
And how strange things are ..its quite expected, nothing unusual that baby would have teeth but when actually the moment comes you feel a strange kind of happiness. Everything seems so special when it happens to your baby :)
Actually I have been waiting for his tooth to erupt quite long back.Yes..yes I know that all babies are different and have different growth stats.
The reason I was waiting is cause when I went to see the midwife when he was around 5 months old, she saw him and said that he will be teething soon as he was drooling and seemed a bit irritated to her , which were quite the symptoms she stated.
So I came back and from that day would religiously examine his gums with my finger.Kept doing it for a while and even mistook something else for a tooth ... then eventually gave up after a month!
But now he actually has one...I am happy ..very happy!!
But also a thought crosses my mind is he gonna bite when I breastfeed him??
