Jingle bells.. |
Ho Ho ....Ho Ho Ho...met Santa , and also spoke to him for the first time in my life and I felt just as happy as a child! There's something magical in the air, beautifully decorated Christmas trees all around....
This week we went for a Kids Christmas Party at hubby's office where we met Santa at his Grotto. Baby wasn't particularly pleased to meet him and kept crying looking at him. Thinking from a toddler's point of view, perhaps the rolly-polly cute Santa is not so appealing to the little ones . My friend said that even her daughter was crying when she met Santa....possibly they would long to see Father Christmas after a year or so.
Saw this beautifully decorated Christmas tree and wanted to take pictures ...I went close to the tree with my baby in my arms. I was smiling towards the camera when all of a sudden I saw a decorative glass ball being smashed to pieces right in-front of me...I had made the mistake of taking my baby kind of close to the shiny things ...in a fraction of second he had taken one out of the tree smashed it. The receptionist was pretty cool I must say, she didn't even raise an eyebrow, all she did was called the cleaning person to clear the glass. But yes my irritated hubby scowled a lot at me. Quite embarrassing.....but my baby got to smash a ball enjoy himself and I was not the one cleaning the place for a change !
happy to be having a meal with everyone. |
I discovered he enjoys chewing food..but only chewing, keeps everything in his mouth instead of swallowing. So morning breakfast has been changed from cereals/ porridge to toast with butter - jam and some yogurt. All of a sudden I feel my baby has grown up.
Coming back on the train was also nice...he kept playing with us and enjoying the view outside.
This week he also picked up clapping his hands...he starts clapping as soon as we utter the word clap...I was telling my friend over the phone that he has learnt to clap, he overheard the word clap and started clapping...looked an absolute darling that's the cherished moment of the week.
This week was also the third Dec born Baby Riya's Bday..a very happy first Bday to the little one who arrived a month before schedule..she was too anxious to meet her parents and other two Dec born friends I guess.
My Life: Did another photoshoot for a baby, clicking babies is tiring but also very rewarding. I absolutely loved clicking the gorgeous baby...kept clicking till my flash battery gave up..looking forward to more such wonderful sessions with my camera ..some of the pictures have really come out well and I am pleased with myself.
As a token of appreciation I was gifted a bottle of champagne and my favorite chocolates Rafaello..munched them off in a day. Now for some topsy turvy time..Anyone in for toasting a Champagne with me?
He looks like a big boy now Archana. Loved his picture with the Xmas tree!
