One year one months two week

Ever since my baby turned one, I am kind of loosing track of the days..the weeks are simply flying by ... I am always busy and now even more so... so much that I have not been updating my baby blog timely...sometimes I wonder what is it that I do the whole day ? why am I not able to manage my time...then I came across an article which was uplifting , enlightening and consoling!

Taking care of baby is becoming all the more hectic day by day..as he turns more and more naughty. This week on the radar was the coffee table and the gadgets spread on it. Now that he has mastered climbing on to the sofa , if I were to leave him unattended even for a minute he would simply climb on the sofa and then onto the table. Once or twice I found him happily perched on the laptop .. nibbling on the wires.

Keeping him off the sofa and table constantly was draining all my energy and I decided to rearrange the living room AGAIN!!! Now all the   laptops , camera are on high shelves..safe for the time being...but I wonder for how long?

For the past two weeks he has been chewing on to each and everything that he finds....socks , toys , shoes..books ! And me using the word NO..NO ..NO ..so much that he doesn't pay any heed when I ask him not to do something. I have succumbed to scolding him...I mean pretend that I am scolding him. He totally understands that I am angry about something and scolding him. Immediately he makes faces and starts crying...and he would make such a sweet face that sometimes I feel like fake up the whole thing just to make him do the act again!!! How mean I know..but so far I have resisted all such temptations :)

All his books have nibbled edges now..at time when I ask him not to chew them ...tactfully he would skim through the book , turning page by page just to show me that he's not chewing , then he would turn his back to me and start chewing again ... so much of chewing I am sure he's teething again! I give him the teething ring to chew but he fancies other things specially the books.

The other day he was sitting on his high chair and enjoying his meal when all of a sudden he started saying.."oooooooooo......ooooooooooo.....ooooooooooooo" and making very soulful faces at the same time...we kept on wondering what is he trying to do? The next day again all of a sudden the "oooooooooo " started. After some analysis , we discovered that our lil baby was singing a song...every time a particular rhyme plays he tries to sing along..not able to utter much he just keeps singing "ooooooooooooooooooooo...ooooooooooooo" along with the chorus ! I vividly remember the first time when he made that cute face and sang..that's the cherish moment for the week ....managed a video of the moment too !
