One year one month three weeks..

Finally London has its share of snowfall....that's the highlight of the week. The much awaited snowfall finally happened, me and my baby had a fun time playing in the snow.

The first day of the week there was a decent snow shower and that was reason enough to skip the Babbling babes session..for more than four weeks now I have been skipping the classes for one reason or the other...the major reason being me too lazy I guess :(

By afternoon it had snowed enough for everything to get covered with a white layer. I decided to take my baby out to the balcony...he was bewildered with the white fluffy stuff falling from the sky....I also sang his nursery rhyme "Snow flakes..snow flakes" ..I doubt if it meant anything to him at all..he's too young to relate. I didn't want to be too adventurous and brought him inside after 3-4 minutes.

After we brought him inside he kept going back to the door and shrieking happy notes..we opened the balcony door for him ...the chilling breeze brushed through his cheeks but he was exhilarated...he was making happy noises and kept bouncing...after a little while he went and touched the snow..he was too thrilled and gave a very excited look...he further wanted to go into the balcony..when we stopped him and closed the door...it was a whole new joyous experience for him and seeing him so happy for us too..that was the cherished moment of the week... !

Later this week there were more snow showers .We went out to enjoy the snow showers...Baby was thrilled, he was inside the buggy most of the time..even had a cosy nap..while we kept enjoying ourselves. Just before we were to go back home he woke up and we took him out of his buggy..he enjoyed the snow flakes falling on him...that was my sweetie pie's first experience of snowfall.

The week was also more of a socializing one with invites to B'day parties , high tea and dinner. Baby's started enjoying outings a lot..I was so surprised when he went overbroad and went ahead and kissed and hugged my hubby's friend on his own! Ofcorse he has reasons to do so..this friend is a very familiar face and he also keeps pampering him by letting him play with his ipad on several occasions afterall !!!

Figuring out the remote buttons..
One of the things that my baby actually broke was the remote..after that incident we had stopped giving him the remote.. every time we use the remote he would watch us pressing the button and the TV responding to it. This week somehow he got hold of the TV remote and kept playing with the remote..gazing at the TV after pressing buttons what's happening...he would be engaged with the remote for at-least 15- 20 minutes..and surprisingly doesn't bang it as well....banging and thrashing things is one of his favorite games. His latest style is throwing the bib once I take it off after he finishes his meal.
